First let me introduce myself. I was born as Judith Brunker in The Hague, we soon moved to Voorburg where I went to school at the Faukenbergplein, a primary school, and my secondary school was at de Vlietstraat. Both schools don’t exist anymore. The first made way for housing, the second for an old-age residence.

I lived with my parents till I married Simon Allard in '54, and in 1958 after giving birth to my second son we immigrated to New Zealand. After having lived there for almost 17 years we moved back to The Netherlands (much to the delight of our parents)where after moving around the country we finally settled down in Veenendaal, Holland, where we also have two sons living.

My eldest son Hans who by the way is the author of this web page has a small painting company my other son Hank also works with him, together they do quite well. We also have two daughters, Patrica who lives in Rotterdam and works as a consultant for a marketing company, and Helen-Sue who is a planner for a school and living in Amersfoort.

As my husband and I are both retired we now have more time for the more enjoyable things in life, like making trips to faraway places and visiting friends that we havn't seen in years. At home my day's are jam packed since I am chairman of the board representing the inhabitants of this appartment block, and also a member of the board for the lady's bridge club and the treasurer for the Union of Volunteers.
The idea for a website seemed like a good way to let the people I don't see very often know what I am doing and they can write back either in the guestbook or in the feedback form, the website is made in such a way that even I can post messages and photo's!
